Louis Stonequist
Louis E. Stonequist, 84, Topeka, died Sunday, Dec. 21, 2003 at McCrite Plaza.
He was born Jan. 31, 1919 in Osage City, the son of Albert and Margaret Goss Stonequist.
He graduated from Osage City High School and had lived in Topeka since 1941, moving here from Pratt.
Mr. Stonequist worked for Menninger for 25 years before retiring in 1984.
He married Elaine Bennett on April 26, 1941 in Burlington. She died Nov. 15, 2001.
Survivors include 2 daughters, Karen Eggert of Grand Lake, CO and Nancy Smith of Lawrence; 6 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life is planned for 1:00 pm Saturday, Dec. 27 at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel.
