Lorraine Sigel of Topeka passed away peacefully at her home on October 24, 2010.
Lorraine enjoyed traveling, fishing and visiting with people. She was also an avid birdwatcher.
She is survived by her sons Robert and his wife Sharon Bendickson of Hutchinson, KS; Michael Bendickson and his companion Marietta Lee, Story City, IA; and daughter Diana Adams and her companion Tip Tipton, Topeka, KS; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her late husband Franz Sigel, daughter Linda Pierce, sons Jerry and Jack Bendickson and granddaughter Makayla Jirik.
Family visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at the Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel. A funeral ceremony will be held 9:00 a.m., Thursday at the funeral home with the Reverend Arlie Persell presiding. Interment will follow at Leavenworth National Cemetery.
