H. "Lorraine" Quall, 87, of Topeka, passed away Friday, November 26, 2010.
She was born July 17, 1923 in Topeka, KS, the daughter of Frank and Lena (Huff) Lungstrum.
Lorraine married Joe R. Quall on April 16, 1949 in Topeka. He preceded her in death on July 23, 1981. Survivors include a son, Larry Quall; a daughter, Vicky (Lonnie) Enyeart; 6 grandchildren, Jennifer Quall, Jeff (Aimee) Williams, Andrea (Daniel) Staggs, Mike Williams, Lori Williams and Beth Quall; 5 great-grandchildren, Alecia (Carlos) Castillo, Arnulfo Arizpe, Jr, Alex Arizpe, Angel Arizpe and Reagan Lorraine Staggs; and 5 siblings, Louise Hummer, "Tiny" Loader, Margie Henderson, Jerry Lungstrum and Alan Lungstrum. She was preceded in death by her parents, and 7 siblings.
Graveside ceremonies and interment will be 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, November 30, 2010 at Topeka Cemetery. Mrs. Quall will lie in state after 3 p.m., Monday at the Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel, 1321 SW 10th Ave., Topeka, where the family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Let's Help, 200 South Kansas Ave., Topeka, KS 66603-3617 .
