Lorraine Cummings

Lorraine G. Cummings, 78, of Topeka, passed away Sun., Sept. 20, 2009. She was born March 9, 1931, the daughter of Harry and Levita (Otto) Lee.

She was a graduate of Seaman High School and attended Washburn University.

Lorraine married Cornelius D. Cummings. He preceded her in death.

She was a registered dietician for Rossville Valley Manor, retiring after 17 years of service.

Survivors include one son, Michael; four daughters, Sallie Kelley, Ellen McFarland, Alice Andrick and Amy Rajewski; 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her parents; daughter, Virginia Franklin; son, Mark Cummings and a sister, Alice Baird.

The family would like to invite family and friends to drop by 4146 NW 25th St., Topeka between 6-8:00 p.m. Thurs.
A graveside memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Fri. Sept. 25th at Prairie Home Cemetery.

Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel is assisting with arrangements.
