Lois Ann Mackwiz, 74, of Topeka, passed away, Wednesday, December 19, 2007 with her family at her side.
She was born February 28, 1933 in Edgerton, Kansas the daughter of Alexander and Maude Fruit Thoms.
Lois was preceded in death by three sisters Evelyn Haney, Lucille Thoms and Ada Pearce. She is survived by her twin sister JoAnne Thoms, and her daughters Simone McDonald and Alyson Tobler, Topeka; her brother, Donald Thoms, Raytown, MO; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Cremation is planned. Memorial services will be held 11:00 a.m., Monday, December 24, 2007 at the Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel. Private inurnment will be at a later date. To leave a message for the family online, visit www.PenwellGabel.com.
