Lois L. Wright, 89, of Topeka, passed away on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at a Topeka hospital. She was born on May 30, 1926 in Hoisington, Kansas, the daughter of Walter and Myrtle (Bradshaw) Burton.
Lois had resided in Topeka since 1953.
Lois married Kenneth Wright on November 20, 1950 in Clayton, New Mexico. He preceded her in death in 1994. She was also preceded in death by twin brothers, Ivan and Irvin Burton.
Survivors include their children, W. "Joe" (P.K.) Wright of Topeka, Richard (Sue) States of Firestone, Colorado, Lynda Hays of Topeka, Sherry (Bill) Hermann of Colorado Springs, Colorado, a special family friend, Ron Hays of Topeka, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 4, 2016 at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel where the family will receive friends one hour prior to service time. Burial will follow in West Lawn Memorial Gardens.
