Lois I. Willes, 78, of Topeka, passed away Tuesday, July 26, 2011.

She was born September 15, 1932 in Muscotah, KS, the daughter of Kenneth Ray and Norma Pearl (Brown) Langston. She was a graduate of Seaman High School.

She was employed by Rodney Milling Company, later by Stormont-Vail Hospital and Wolfe's Camera.

Lois married Harold D. Willes. He survives. Other survivors include four children, Pam (Mitch), Debbie (Danny), Patty (Jason) and Mike (Teri); niece, Kitty (Rick); 4 grandchildren, Tana, Kelly, Nikki and Brittany; a great-grandson, James; three sisters, Dee Isaacks, Joyce (Ron) Kolstad and Linda (Tom) Zieman.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Loren Langston and a brother-in-law, Sam Isaacks.

Funeral services will be 9 a.m., Friday, July 29, 2011 at the Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence Ave, Topeka, KS 66608. Interment will follow at Rochester Cemetery, Topeka. Mrs. Willes will lie in state after 4 p.m., today at the funeral home where the family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Stormont-Vail Cancer Center, 1500 SW 10th Ave, Topeka, KS 66604.
