Mrs. Lois Annette Daish Stewart House,82, passed away on September 11, 2002 at a local hospice. She was born June 12, 1920 in Kansas City, Kansas to Walter E. and Hazel McGregor Daish.
Mrs. House graduated from Wyandotte High School in 1938.
She married Ronald S. Stewart on June 21, 1943, who preceded her in death in 1960. They had four fabulous children who survive them: Ronna Lee Fly, Dallas, Texas; Robert Stewart House, Topeka, Kansas; Susan Elaine Stewart, Boulder, Colorado; Sally Anne Hanna, Topeka, Kansas. Her sister, Beverly Barner of Shawnee, KS She is also survived by nine grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. She married Bill House in April 28, 1961, who preceded her in death in 1982. She will be remembered by her family and friends for her love of music, nature and animals. She gave private piano lessons and played the organ for several local churches. She was a most loving mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed.
The family will receive friends at Penwell-Gabel Midtown Chapel on Friday, September 13, 2002 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Funeral services will be Saturday, September 14, 2002 at 1 p.m. in Penwell-Gabel Midtown Chapel. Interment will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Kansas City, Kansas at 4 p.m.
