Lois A. Dill, 91, of Topeka, passed away on Sunday, February 27, 2005 at a Topeka hospital. She was born on May 12 1913 in Bellingham, Washington, the daughter of William F. and Susie Anderson Graham. After graduating from Tarkio College in Tarkio, Missouri, she started her teaching career in rural Rice County in a one room school. Later she earned a masters degree in education from Kansas State Teachers College in Emporia, Kansas. She also was a homemaker. She resided in Sterling, Kansas until moving to Topeka in 1971. She was a member of Central Presbyterian Church and Delta Kappa Gamma. She married John A. Dill on December 18, 1939 in Sterling, Kansas. He survives. Other survivors include one daughter, Barbara DeBoer of Emporia, Kansas, two grandchildren, Britt DeBoer of Powell, Wyoming and Leanna Schmidt of Olpe, Kansas. She was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Central Presbyterian Church. Burial will follow in West Lawn Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Dill will lie in state after 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel. Memorial contributions may be given to Central Presbyterian Church, 920 S.W. Huntoon, Topeka, Kansas 66604.
