Lloyd “Alan” Ratzloff, 51, of Topeka, Kansas passed away on July 29, 2024, surrounded by his family.
Alan was born on September 9, 1972, in Marion, Kansas, the son of Lloyd Ray Ratzloff and Cynthia Ann (Cosby) Catt.
He attended Royal Valley High School , where he played football and wrestled.
Alan was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed hand fishing, camping and mushroom hunting. He always was up for an adventure and was fearless. Alan also enjoyed MMA fighting and would often host back yard wrestling matches.
However, Alan’s greatest accomplishment his children. He always brought a smile to their faces and enjoyed making them laugh. Alan will be remembered as the man that would always lend a hand and protect anyone, but especially his family.
He had a strong faith and trust in the Lord throughout his life.
Alan was preceded in death by his father; daughter in law, Graciela Ana Munoz; the mother to some of his children, Anita Marie Myers; and childhood best friend, Clint Potts.
He is survived by his mother, Cindy Catt, of Topeka, KS; sister, Lynn (Jon) Brown of Wakarusa, KS; his brothers , Russell Ratzloff of Wichita, KS and Will (Morgan) Catt of Topeka, KS; children; Lloyd Alan Michael Ratzloff of Topeka, KS, Serenity Veal of Topeka, KS, Kelly (Robert) Cockrell of Aurora, MO, Cody Brown of Topeka, KS, Rachael Ratzloff of Topeka, KS, Cory Ratzloff of Topeka, KS, Christopher and Colby Ratzloff of Waterville, KS; 10 grandchildren, Rosanna, Zoey, Daisey, Damien, Jaylyn, Jace, Freya, Elias, Maggie, Michael and many other close friends and relatives that he loved dearly.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00pm on Thursday, August 15, 2024, at Penwell Gabel Funeral Home, 1321 SW 10th Ave, Topeka, KS 66604. His family will greet friends and relatives one hour prior to the service.
Alan's service will be livestreamed at the scheduled service time.
