Joe Aubert, 68, of Topeka, passed away, Thursday, October 6, 2005 in a mowing related accident.
He was born November 9, 1936 in Sikeston, Missouri the son of Lloyd and Gail Johnson Aubert.
Joe married Barbara Moore February 12, 1967 in Topeka. She survives him. Other survivors include five children, Luke Aubert, Mark Aubert, Debra Gillespie, Jacque Mankin, Rebecca Miller, his mother, Elizabeth Aubert, one sister, Mary Jane Page, four brothers, Jack, Jerry, Jim, and John Aubert and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, October 11, 2005 at the First Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery. Mr. Aubert will lie in state after 12:00 noon Monday at the Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel where the family will greet friends from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. Monday. In lieu of flowers contributions may be given to First Baptist Church, 3033 SW MacVicar Ave., Topeka, KS 66611 or the Shriners Children's Hospital Transportation Fund, 1305 S.
