Linda Kay Wisner, 64, of Topeka, passed away on June 30, 2024.
She was born on November 3, 1959 to Gilbert and Mary (Riggs) Langley in Junction City, Kansas. She spent many summers in Western Kansas with her extended family. She also spent her high school years travelling as part of a military family including Hawaii and Minnesota.
On October 19, 1979 she married Harry Wisner. Linda and Harry spent time in New Jersey and Wisconsin before settling in Topeka, KS in 1988 where they raised their two sons. She was forever proud of her boys and her grandchildren.
Linda worked as an Accountant and Comptroller for many years for Shawnee County, the Kansas Expocentre, and the State of Kansas. Linda also served her country in the U.S. Army Reserve from 1979-1994.
Linda is survived by her sons; Erik (Ashley) Wisner and Kevin (Kendra) Wisner; her three grandchildren Kolby, Celeste and Kylie; her mother Mary Van Blarcum; and her sisters Merri Sobczak and Frances Hoffa.
She was preceded in death by her husband Harry Wisner, and her father Gilbert Langley.
