Linda K. Morriss

Linda K. Morriss passed away November 1, 2024 in Topeka, Kansas at the age of 74 after a long illness. She was born March 25, 1950 to the late Gordon McIntyre and Hattie Buick McIntyre in Denver, Colorado.

Linda married Dennis R. Morriss on May 26, 1979. He predeceased her on June 29, 2024. Linda is survived by her daughter Kelly L. Patterson, granddaughter Sidney Patterson, sister Jean (Tim) Lewis, 2 nieces and a sister in law.

Linda graduated from South Technical High School, St. Louis, MO. She also completed the Emergency Medical Technician program in Topeka, KS. She worked for The Roger Hood American Family Agency before retiring due to health reasons.

Linda’s love for scrapbooking led her to open a scrapbook store with her husband Dennis. They made many friends during the years they operated the store. While Linda’s health deteriorated, her crafts and sewing gave her comfort.

Graveside service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at Memorial Park Cemetery, 3616 S.W. 6th St, Topeka, KS.

Memorials can be made to the Helping Hands Humane Society or Elara Hospice and mailed to Penwell Gabel Midtown Chapel, 1321 S.W. 10th St, Topeka, KS.
