Linda Joyce Machnov

Linda Joyce Machnov, 80, of Topeka, passed away Wednesday, August 2, 2023.
She was born November 18, 1942, in Garnett, Kansas, the daughter of Ken and Dorothy (Root) Dale. She graduated from Highland Park High School.
Linda worked for St. Francis hospital in administration in the admissions department. After leaving St. Francis Hospital, she worked for the American Cancer Society. She also volunteered with the American Cancer Society.
She will be remembered as a very loving and caring person who was always positive. Linda was a good listener and loved giving good advice. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, gardening and being outdoors. Her passion was watching the humming birds outside her window.
She is survived by her son, Michael (Cynthia) Machnov; grandchildren, Jacob (Sara) Machnov, Kristina Machnov and Matthew Machnov. She had two brothers, Ken (Sheila) Dale and Lee (Nancy) Dale. She was preceded in death by her Son, Robert G. Machnov and her parents, Ken and Dorothy.
She will be laid to rest at Memorial Park Cemetery in Topeka, Kansas. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, PO Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741.
