Linda Kay Shaw, 67, of Topeka, passed away Monday, April 4, 2016.
She was born November 16, 1948, near Perry, Kansas, the daughter of Harold and Hazel Hedgepath. She was a graduate of Washburn Rural High School and was employed by K-Mart for 30 years.
Linda married Andy Shaw in 1964 in Topeka. They later divorced.
Survivors include children, Bret (Jenny) Shaw and Stacey Shaw; grandchildren, Marissa, Tyler, Jacob, and Isabella Shaw; sister, Helen (Vern) Baker; and brother, Melvin (Madeline) Hedgepath.
Linda enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and reading.
Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 9, 2016, at Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel, 1321 SW 10th Avenue, Topeka, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery in Perry. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 1315 SW Arrowhead Road, Topeka, Kansas 66604.
