Linda Hope Fraser
Linda Hope Fraser, 61, of Topeka, passed away on Thursday, July 7, 2011 at St. Francis Health Center. She was born on February 17, 1950 in Mann, West Virginia to Kermit and Oma Baker.
On March 16, 1968 Linda married Kenneth Fraser at Little Rock Air Force Base, Jacksonville, Arkansas. She was a claims manager at American States for 13 years and later was the Assistant Vice President at Capital Federal where she retired after 24 years.
Linda is survived by her husband Kenneth; her daughter Millie (Chris) Brink of Overland Park; her mother-in-law Lorraine Fraser of Topeka; seven grandchildren, Kenny Wayne, Ashley, Caley, Braden, Anthony, Jennifer and Justin; her brother Steve Baker and her sister Joan Scott. She was preceded in death by her son Kevin Wayne Fraser in 1997.
A funeral ceremony will be at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 13, 2011 at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel. Linda will lie in state on Tuesday at the funeral home where the family will receive friends 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
