He was also a member of Old Timers Club of Adams Business Forms where he worked for 28 years. He was granted a U.S. Patent and had earned a pilot license.
He was a member of Oakland United Methodist Church.
Relatives: Married to: Grace Rupple on October 24, 1940 in Atchison, Kansas preceded in death by: One daughter, Sue Gibbs Cain who was killed in an auto accident at age 18 on July 22, 1959.
