Leslie "Keith" LeGer, 83, of Topeka, passed away May 4, 2014, at Midland Hospice.
Keith was born September 25, 1930, in Oskaloosa, Kansas, the son of George and Mabel (Hudson) LeGer. He was a graduate of Oskaloosa High School and the University of Kansas.
He was a former member of Crestview United Methodist Church in Topeka. He ushered KU football for many years and had a special interest in hunting arrowheads and other Indian artifacts, along with mushroom hunting.
On September 4, 1954, he married Carolyn Shoemaker. She preceded him in death on August 31, 2008.
Survivors include son, Alan LeGer, of Topeka; sister, Colleen Schmidt; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mr. LeGer was cremated. Graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 9, 2014, in Mount Hope Cemetery, 4700 SW 17th Street, Topeka, Kansas 66604. Memorial contributions may be made to Midland Care, 200 SW Frazier Circle, Topeka, Kansas 66606. Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel is handling arrangements.
