Lesli Casey

Lesli passed away on July 16, 2008, at the age of 38, after battling lung cancer that had metastasized to her brain.

Lesli was born on May 4, 1970, in Topeka. She attended Shawnee Heights High School and graduated from Highland Park High School in 1988.

She later worked as a CNA/CMA for several nursing homes in Topeka. Lesli never lost her sense of humor, her smile, or the sparkle in her eyes that captured the hearts of everyone. Her bubbly personality will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Lesli is survived by her husband, Patrick Casey; sons, Justin and Cameron Holcomb; step-daughter, Britany Casey; grand-daughter, Skye Holcomb; Dad, Don and step-mom, Cathy Dachenhausen; Mom, Laura, step-dad, Russ Fair; half brothers, Billy and Bobby Fair; brother, Don Dachenhausen III and his wife Dawn Moncalieri and their children, Laura and Jeffrey; grandparents, Don and Galena Dachenhausen, and John and Donna Winkenwader; in-laws, Anne Casey and her husband Joe Willmon, and father-in-law, Tom Casey; along with several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Memorial service will be at 1:00 p.m., Sat., July 19 at Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel with visitation 1 hr. prior to service time. Lesli will lie in state from 4-8 p.m. Friday, July 18 at the funeral home.
