Leroy Charles Linnemann, 81, of Topeka, passed away at his home on Thursday, February 10, 2005.
Mr. Linnemann was born on June 13, 1923 in Muscotah, KS the son of Frank Carl and Grace Chick Linnemann. He graduated from Whiting Rural High School in 1942.
He moved to Topeka at the age of 19 and began working at Crane & Comapny. He became a co-owner of the company and worked for the company for 46 years before retiring in 1987.
He enjoyed fishing, playing golf and spending time with his family.
He married Verna E. Dierking on December 23, 1950 in Bremen, Kansas. She survives. Other survivors include two daughters: Susan MacDevitt, Parsons; Karen Linnemann, Topeka and one son: John Linnemann, Rossville. 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He was preceeded in death by his parents and one brother: Lyle D. Linnemann in 2004.
Funeral services will be held at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel on Saturday at 9:00 A.M. Burial will be in Penwell-Gabels Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Linnemann will lie in state after 2:00 P.M. on Friday.
