Lemuel Paul Killgore, 51, Sandersville, Georgia, formerly of Wichita, passed away on Tuesday, October 20, 2009 at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Topeka after a battle with cancer.
Paul was born June 2, 1958 in Wichita, the son of Lemuel F. and Beverly (Lindsey) Killgore. He grew up in the Wichita area.
He served in the U.S. Army from 1975 to 1977. He worked in maintenance for various companies across the United States.
His hobbies included model building, computers, movies, fishing and hunting.
Survivors include daughter, Michelle Carolyn Killgore; son, Chadwick William Killgore, both of Wichita; daughter, Crystal Marie Killgore, Santa Rosa, CA; step-daughter, Michele Bell, Monroe, GA; grandson, Chanse William Killgore, Wichita; sister, Terresa L. (Chuck) Mountain, Topeka; brothers, Ira F. (Shawna) Killgore, Wichita, and Jerrod T. Killgore, Milton; 3 nephews and 1 niece. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Cremation has taken place and private family inurnment will be at a later date.
Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
