Lela Hildebrandt, 76, Topeka, died Monday, Jan. 24, 2005 at her home she was born July 18, 1928 in Rockport, MO the daughter of Leet and Elsie Watkins Bowden. Lela retired from Jostens Printing and Publishing after 20 years of service. Lela was a member of the Restoration Branch of the Reorganized Church of Latter Day Saints. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother Paul Bowden. She married Keith Hildebrandt, Feb. 15, 1997 in Topeka, KS he survives. Other survivors include daughter, Patsy Heard and her husband Tom, Blue Springs, MO; son, Danny McIntosh and his wife Theresa, DIberville, MS; son, William McIntosh and his wife Gloria, Salina, KS; son, Randy McIntosh and his wife Cathy, Prairie Village, KS; step son, Bruce Hildebrandt, Topeka, KS; step son, Scott Hildebrandt and his wife Lynda, Topeka, KS; sister, Jeane Estle and her husband Eben, Sabetha, KS; sister, Edna Packer and her husband Lloyd, Moorhead, MN; sister Cora Yarber, Moorhead, MN: sister-in-law, Darlene Bowden, Moorhead, MN. 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 27, 2005 at Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel 1321 SW 10th Ave. Topeka, KS 66604. Interment will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery. Mrs. Hildebrandt will lie in state after 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2005 at Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel where the family will receive friends from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be sent to Helping Hands Humane Society 2625 NW Rochester Rd.
