Leanne B. Maupin, 74, Topeka, passed away on Saturday, June 8, 2013 at Lexington Park. She was born September 19, 1938 in Bavaria, Germany.
On June 15, 1958, she married Donald C. Maupin. Leanne was a bakery clerk at Dillon's for 24 years. She was an active member of Faith Lutheran Church.
She is survived by her daughters, Laura A. Kaul, Topeka and Jeanie M. Phipps, Columbia, Missouri; two grandsons, Jacob Kaul, Auburn, Kansas and Trevor Phipps, Columbia, Missouri and one granddaughter, Erica Phipps, Columbia, Missouri.
She was preceded in death by her parents Chester and Charlotte Mundy, her husband, daughter, Jackie A. Maupin and sister, Barbara Searcy.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 13, 2013 at Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel. Burial will follow in the Penwell-Gabel Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Faith Lutheran Church, 1716 SW Gage Blvd, Topeka, KS 66604.
