Surviving family include his son, Robert L. (Dora) Nielson, Shawnee, KS; daughter, Patricia L. (Greg) Huckabee, Arvada, CO; and grandson, Travis Huckabee, Arvada, CO.
Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 3, 2010, at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel, 1321 SW Tenth Avenue, Topeka KS 66604. Inurnment will be at the Mount Hope Cemetery, Topeka, KS. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 1315 SW Arrowhead Road, Topeka, KS 66604-4020.
