Lavonne A. Brandenburg, of Silver Lake, passed away Sunday November 20, 2005.
She was born July 31, 1929 in Muskegon, Michigan, the daughter of Victor and Doris Danielson. She grew up in St. Cloud, Minnesota, and graduated from Tech High School. She worked as a homemaker and travel agent in Seattle, Wichita, and Topeka.
She married Robert Brandenburg on October 4, 1962 in Seattle. He survives. Also surviving are her son Todd, Topeka, her daughter Elizabeth Parker of Olympia, Washington, sister Janice Cordes of Moraga, California, and brother Robert "Buzz" Danielson of Eden Prairie, Minnesota.
The funeral service will be Thursday, December 1, at 11am at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel, 10th and Lane. Burial will follow at Mt Hope Cemetery. She will lie in state November 30th, after 11 am. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to the Goetz Sacred Music Fund in care of St. John's Lutheran Church, 901 SW Fillmore, 66606.
