L'Aleen Gloria Kramer Carter, 93, Overland Park, passed away Friday, October 16, 2015.
Born September 23, 1922, in Bristow, Oklahoma, the daughter of Joseph Christian and Ella Irene (Myers) Kramer, she graduated from Bristow High School, attended Oklahoma State University and Johnson County Community College in Fine Arts. She was a homemaker and regional artist.
Survivors include her five children, Angella A. (Gilbert) Zepeda, Fort Worth, TX; Dr. John W.M. (Colleen) Carter, Leawood, KS; Dr. Joseph G. (Beth) Carter, Pittsboro, NC; William J. Carter, Jr., Overland Park, KS and Walter D. (Sandra) Carter, Desert Hot Springs, CA; 14 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and one brother, Ted Eugene Kramer, Troy, MT.
Visitation will begin at 10 am with services to follow at 11 am on Wednesday, October 21 at Mount Hope Chapel, Topeka. Burial will be at Mount Hope Cemetery.
