Kristeen Kay "Kristy" Frost, 44, of Topeka, passed away Saturday, November 19, 2022.
She was born April 8, 1978, in Topeka, Kansas, the daughter of Mark and Karen (Gassen) Frost.
She attended Highland Park High School and graduated from Washburn Rural High School in 1997.
She was a member of TARC, which gave her the opportunity to work at various hotels in Topeka. She was also part of the TARC Chat Group, St. Francis Stroke Support Group, and Retreat and Refresh Stroke Camp, through Kansas Rehab, which she was able to attend this past October.
Kristy loved sports, especially her Chiefs, Cowboys and KU Jayhawks. She also enjoyed reading, watching TV, playing games on her phone, and was the life of the party. Her cats, Nuni and Crush brought her so much happiness and joy.
Survivors include her mom, Karen Frost; sister, Jennifer Frost; her maternal grandma, Karel Gassen; six nieces and nephews, T.J., Tarryn, Te`aja, Keara, Kaylee, and Kalib; her uncle Steve (Chris) Gassen; her aunt, Anita (Steve) Frese; special friends Reva and Jenne; and numerous cousins and extended family.
She was preceded in death by her dad, grandpa, Theron Gassen and brother, Theron Frost.
Visitation will begin at 1pm followed by memorial service at 2pm, Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home, 1321 SW 10th Ave, Topeka. Kristy's family asks that you wear your Chiefs, Cowboys, or KU attire or the color orange. Interment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery, Topeka.
