She was born February 12, 1918 to the late Arthur L. and Vera C. (Grandberry) Gilliam in Chicago, IL.
She graduated from TopekaHigh School. She was a member of CalvaryBaptistChurch. She retired from TopekaStateHospital, a Dietary Supervisor.
She is survived by two sisters Arthuian Brown and Jo Eugenia Benton Topeka, KS, and three nephews.
Service will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, January 31, at the Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel. Burial will follow at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Leavenworth National Cemetery, Leavenworth, KS.
