Kimberly Renee Franklin-Worford, 54, Topeka, passed away Thursday, April 17, 2014.
She was born July 25, 1959, in Topeka, Kansas, the daughter of Cornellia Kathryn Beard and Harm Franklin. She attended Topeka High School and earned her associates degree from Friends University.
Ms. Worford was a member of the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include her children, Katrina M. Worford, Angel D. Worford, Dustin J. Franklin; eight grandchildren, Anae'Ama Jordan, Arianna Franklin, Sean Leaks, Corneice Penny-Grissom, Jayden Beddo, Luella Norwood, Christopher Beddo-Franklin, Zayaire' Grissom; two siblings, Wionna Major-Brown, Winston E. Brown all of Topeka. She was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
Kimberly enjoyed gardening, cooking and family time.
A wake will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 24, 2014 at Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel. A private family burial will be at Mt. Auburn Cemetery.
