Kevin Lee Taylor, 49, of Topeka, passed away on Saturday, December 18, 2010. He was born on April 20, 1961, in Topeka, the son of Willard M. and Dora G. Stelter Taylor. He graduated from Topeka West High School and received a B.S. and masters Degree in Business at Washburn University.
Kevin was employed as a controller/accountant in the Topeka area for many years. He had a lifelong passion for trains and railroad history. He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church and the National Model Railroaders Association.
Kevin married Cynthia A. Hoff on June 25, 1988, in Topeka. She survives. Other survivors include one son, Stuart L. Taylor, one daughter, Rosalyn G. Taylor both of the home, his parents, Willard and Dora Taylor, and one sister, Debra J. Taylor, all of Topeka.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Faith Lutheran Church. Inurnment will follow in Penwell-Gabel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the National Brain Tumor Society, 124 Watertown St., Ste. 2D, Watertown, MA 02472 or to The Patient Advocate Foundation, 421 Butler Farm Rd., Hampton, VA 23666 or Faith Lutheran Church, 1716 SW Gage Blvd., Topeka, KS 66604.
