Kenneth Miller, 71, of Topeka, passed away on Monday, November 3, 2008 at a Kansas City, KS hospital. He was born on November 9, 1937 in Brooklyn, NY, the son of Linda and Arthur Miller. Kenneth enlisted in the U.S. Air Force in 1956 and served at Air Force bases in New England and Texas until 1962, when he was honorably discharged at Bradford, MA. He attended schools in New Jersey and New York, graduating with a B.A. in sociology and psychology from the City College of New York in 1970. He worked in the medical profession as Admitting Officer at St. Vincent's Hospital, N.Y. and also N.Y.C. Health & Hospitals Corporation. During recent years, Kenneth has been under the excellent care of the Colmery-O'Neil VA Medical Center in Topeka. Survivors include his brother, Herbert (Jeanne) Miller of Prairie Village, two nieces, Linda and Christine and two nephews, Marc and Todd. Kenneth will not lie in state. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday at Leavenworth National Cemetery. Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
