KENNETH MELTON COOK
Kenneth Melton Cook, 67, Topeka, died Monday, June 28, 2004 at the VA Hospital in Topeka, KS.
He was born May 16, 1937 in Morgantown, West Virginia. He worked for 16 years for Goodyear in Akron, Ohio. Before he retired, he was a Service Specialist for Montgomery Ward Auto Service in Topeka, KS. He was married to Evelyn Maxine Nicholson on September 25, 1964 in Oakland, Maryland. Evelyn passed away in 1998.
Kenneth was a Specialist 4th Class in the United States Army from 1959-1962.
He is survived by his son, Keith Cook, Olathe and brother Wilbur Cook, and sister Maggie Witt and 2 grandchildren Chandler and Courtney.
Cremation is planned. Gravesite service and military flag ceremony will be held at Topeka Cemetary at 10am Tuesday, July 6. Memorial contributions may be sent in care of Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Funeral Home. On-line condolences may be left at www.penwellgabel.com
