Kay (Straily)Williams, 85 of Shawnee County, Kansas passed away Thursday July 27,2023. She graduated from Mission Township and Washburn Rural Highschool. She was a cheerleader and went through life as a leader to many of her classmates. She loved the meals they had together for the last sixty years.
Aloha Kay Williams married Franklin Dee Williams August 26, 1961. She and her husband were active members of First Lutheran Church and First Southern Baptist Church. They helped in support of assisting building and expanding both. Shortly after after they were married she was involved in the North Topeka Saddle Club. She was elected to serve as treasurer and took the club from the red to the black in the first year. She later served as treasurer of the Mission Township as a public servant. She became a mother later in life and she loved spending time with the family who loved her potato salad.
She leaves behind her son Lance Edwin Williams, his wife Staci , their sons Konr and his wife Heather, Steiner, and great grandson Arthur Bahn. Her daughter Angela Kay Weigel and her husband Jason, their son Benjamin and daughter Katherine.
The twinkle in her blue eyes and her smile will be greatly missed by the entire family.
Graveside Services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 26, 2023 at Memorial Park Cemetery, 3616 SW 6th Ave., Topeka, KS 66606.
