Kay Ann Kendig

Kay Ann Kendig, 77, of Topeka, passed away on Saturday, April 28, 2012 at her residence. She was born on May 15, 1934 in Great Bend, Kansas to George Raymon and Gladys Hermine (Colivin) McGinn.
Kay graduated from Glasco High School and then attended Brown Mackie Business School in Salina, Kansas. For over 25 years, Kay was a daycare provider. In March, 1954, she married Gerald J. Kendig. He preceded her in death in 1999. She was also preceded in death by two brothers Harold McGinn and Raymon "Gene" McGinn.
Kay is survived by her loving children, Steven Kendig and Ron Kendig and his wife Debbie, all of Topeka and three great-grandchild, Alex Bardwell, Jessica Bardwell, Sierra Bardwell all of Topeka.
A graveside memorial ceremony will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at the Penwell-Gabel Cemetery.
