Kathryn L. (Kuder) Rothers, 75, Topeka, passed away Saturday, August 26, 2017 at a local hospital.
Kathryn was born February 14, 1942 in Scott City to Goldie L. (Jones) Jacoby and Raymond R. Kuder.
She graduated from Greeley County High School in Tribune in 1960.
She worked at the Ralph's A & G grocery store and later at the I.G.A. in Tribune, insurance agencies in Dodge City and Scott City and owned and operated Style Shop in Leoti. She moved to Oklahoma City and worked as the Administrative Secretary at Western Industries.
Kathryn married Cecil D. Rothers on October 25, 2004 in Topeka. He survives. Other survivors include daughters, Carla L. Young, Topeka, DeAnn M. (Bruce) Bloedorn, Marysville; son, Derek N. (Laura Lee) Young, Norman, OK; grandchildren, Mark (Elaini), Miles (Rebeca), Max and Morgan Burnley, Lyle and Kimberlee Young; great-grandchildren, Brecken Roell and Adeline Grace; and sisters, Irene Rice, El Paso, TX, Carolyn Martin, Hoisington and Mary Ann Krebs, Syracuse.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 31, 2017 at Countryside United Methodist Church. An additional Memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 2, 2017 at the Tribune United Methodist Church. Inurnment will follow in the Greeley County Cemetery in Tribune.
