Kathleen Terwilleger

Kathleen Terwilleger, 78, of Topeka, passed away on September 9, 2018.
She was born on July 4, 1940 in Cherryvale, KS the daughter of Nellie and Wilbur Terwilleger. She graduated from Labette County Community High School and went on to attend Washburn University.
She worked for the United States Postal Service for over 20 years, as well as for the Girl Scouts for over 10 years.
She enjoyed reading, cross word puzzles, and spending time with her family and friends, and especially her grand-dog, Rocco. She loved beating Amanda at Jepoardy, and cooking for everyone she came into contact with.
She is survived daughter, Amanda Terwilleger (Jeremy); niece, Wendy Terwilleger (Lee); as well as numerous extended family. She will also be missed by her "adopted" children who lovingly referred to her as "Mama Kay."
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Charles Terwilleger, and his wife Shirley.
Cremation is planned. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Private burial will take place at Mound Valley Cemetery.
