Kathleen L. Gallagher
Mrs. Kathleen L. Gallagher, 82 of Topeka passed away on Sunday, Oct 12, 2003 in St. Francis Hospital. She was born in Topeka on April 23, 1921 to Arthur and Irene Snyder Burgat.
Kathleen was an honor student and a 1939 graduate of Topeka High School. She attended and graduated from Clark's School of Business and worked for the Capper Publications as a secretary.
On June 14, 1948 in Topeka she married Richard C. Gallagher, he survives and lives at the family home. Other survivors include her daughter, Jan Wiese and her husband Dave; her son Steve Gallagher and his wife Cyndi; her brother, Wendell Burgat of Prescott Valley, AZ. Her grandchildren are, Brett, Dan, Ben and Anna Wiese and Creighton Gallagher. One grandson, Spencer Gallagher passed away Dec. 3, 1998.
Mrs. Gallagher will lie in state at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town on Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2003 beginning at Noon. Funeral services will be in Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel on Thursday, Oct. 16, 2003 at 1:00 pm., interment will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
