Katherine Jo Wilder, 65, Topeka, passed away Friday, March 24, 2017.
She was born October 19, 1951, in Onaga, Kansas, the daughter of General Dewey and Gladys (Beard) Wilder.
For 18 years, Kathy provided childcare for numerous Topeka families.
Kathy is survived by her children: Donald (Dana) Myers, Jr., Norman Myers, Tammy (Josh) Crouse, Crystal (Michael) Hewitt, Amanda Grame and Amy Moon (Jeremy), all of Topeka; 24 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and siblings, Barbara Frisby, Sandra Morrison, Carol Beam, Joyce Wilder, Steve Wilder and Anna Wilder.
She was preceded in death by her parents, grandson, Tyler Crouse and siblings, Dorothy Gowan, Virginia Whitmarsh, Patricia Pongrats, Richard Dustin, Paul Dustin and Marilyn Barrett.
Funeral services will be 5:00 p.m., Friday, March 31, 2017 at Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel, followed by a gathering and visitation until 8:00 p.m.
Private graveside services will be at a later date at Penwell-Gabel Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of the funeral home, 1321 SW 10th Avenue, Topeka, KS 66604.
