OBITUARY OF KATHERINE FRANCES CORYELL WALTON STOVER
Topeka,KS– Katherine Frances Coryell Walton Stover, 103, passed awaypeacefully onSeptember 13, 2007, in Topeka,Kansas. She was born March 30, 1904 in Junction City to Myron Levert Coryell and Addie Eliza Coryell.
Katherine attended Junction City schools and graduated from Junction City High School in 1922. She later attended the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and Kansas State College in Manhattan. She taught second grade for Junction City Public Schools before becoming engaged to William Glenn Walton. The couple moved to Topeka after they were married. Mr. Walton preceded Katherine in death. She was later remarried to Robert Bruce Stover, who also preceded her in death. Her only son, William Armour Walton, passed away in 1975,
Mrs. Stover will be greatly missed by her surviving family: a daughter, Dian Wells, Topeka; two grandsons, Sam Wells, Colorado Springs, CO and Robert Wells, Topeka; a daughter-in-law, Sally Walton, Florida; three granddaughters, Rebecca Green, Mary Elizabeth Harris, and Jennifer Walton; six great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and many friends.
