Katherine E. Olmsted and Sunshine her beloved pet, passed away Friday February 12, 2010. Katherine was born on October 4, 1967 in Town and Country, Missouri. She moved to Topeka in 1988 and lived there until moving to Ozawkie in 1998.
Katherine was married to Scott Olmsted on September 25, 1998. He preceded her in death.
Katherine is survived by her mother, Marijo Arthur; her father, Robert Heider; her grandfather, Rudi Heider; all living in St. Louis; her brother, Matt Heider, currently serving in the U.S. Navy; her mother-in-law, Patricia Olmsted and her grandmother Margaret McQuilkin both of Topeka.
Katherine graduated from Kirkwood High School and Kaw Area Technical School where she received her LPN Degree.
She was employed by Cotton-O'Neil from 1998 until her passing.
A memorial service will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday February 27, 2010 at the Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel. Private family inurnment will be at a later date.
