Karen T. Prescott, 64, of Topeka, passed away, Saturday, August 25, 2007 at her home.
She was born April 25, 1943 in Madison, WI the daughter of Roy and Alice Flom. Karen has resided in Topeka since 1977.
Mrs. Prescott worked 25 years as a legal secretary for Wakarusa River Management.
She was married to Philip Bruce Prescott 44 years. He survives. Other survivors include her son, James Prescott, MD, and his wife Tamara, McPherson, KS; her daughters, Dawn Harrison, Topeka; Pamela Jackson and her husband Keith, Olathe, KS; two grandsons, one brother, Leroy Flom, Las Vegas, NV; one sister, Nancy Dahl-Higgins, Rio, WI.
Mrs. Prescott will lie in state after 2:00 p.m., Wednesday at the Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel where the family will greet friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. that evening. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Cremation will follow.
