Karen K. Bergeson, 67, Topeka, passed away on Wednesday, October 29, 2008 at Midland Hospice House.
Karen was born April 22, 1941 in Indianola, IA, the daughter of Wilbur and A. Loraine (Hickman) Kennedy.
She worked for State Farm Insurance for over 28 years, retiring in 2007.
She was a member of Countryside United Methodist Church.
Karen and Don Bergeson were married on September 23, 1961 in Des Moines, IA. He survives. Other survivors include daughter, Tammy (Forrest) Walter, Berryton; and grandchildren, Zachary and Taryn Walter.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 4, 2008 at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel. Burial will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery. Karen will lie in state at the funeral home after 2:00 p.m. on Monday.
Memorial contributions may be made to Midland Hospice House, 200 SW Frazier Circle, Topeka, Kansas 66606.
