Justin Andrew Myers, 38, of Topeka, passed away Saturday, February 11, 2023. He was born March 1, 1984, in El Dorado, Kansas.
He had a love for music. He enjoyed playing the guitar and listening to Pantera and Avenged Sevenfold while driving. Together, Justin and his wife Mellissa loved spending time together talking, cooking and extracting essential oils.
Justin was loved by everyone. Whenever you met him, he would leave such a lasting impression on you. His love for others was tremendous and could be seen by those around him.
He worked full time at Home Depot in Topeka serving mainly in the Hardware Department. His work family meant a lot to him as they were a tight knit group.
He was passionate about helping the homeless and in return, they helped him in more way than could ever be said. The Topeka Rescue Mission meant a lot to Justin. The family asks that any memorial contributions please be made out to them in Justin's memory; 600 N. Kansas Ave., Topeka, KS 66608.
Justin is survived by his loving wife Mellissa Ann Myers and father figure/mentor (Dad) Richard Maines of the home; Mother Elizabeth Black of Wichita Kansas, Step dad ShaneBlack of Coosbay, Oregon; Father Jeffrey Myers and Step mother Cathy Myers of Arkansas; siblings Ashton Martin, Shandell Myers, Miranda Myers and Lauren Myers; Grandma Patricia Wile of Medicine Lodge; Uncle Darren Wile of Wichita Kansas, uncle Craig Wile of Augusta; daughters, Natalee Kates and Husband Ian Carroll of Berryville, Virginia and their son, Easton, Joslyn Alayne Myers of Lafayette, Louisiana, and Jenna Lynn Myers of Nickerson, Kansas.
He was preceded in death by his Aunt Carla Warden, Maternal grandfather Thomas Wile, paternal grandparents LeRoy Myers and Earnesteen Myers, and infant stepdaughter Elizabeth Renee.
Justin was reunited in Heaven with his own Guardian Angel and best friend, Justyn Hosman. Justyn was Justin's mentor and his saving grace during his time here on Earth.
Cremation is planned and no services are set at this time.
