Julius Richard Schulz, 96 of Topeka passed away April 19, 2018.
Julius was born May 28, 1921 the son of Julius F. and J. Pearl (Norris) Schulz in Fairbury,NE.
He enlisted in the Army in 1942 and served in WWII. He was with 535th Engineers in Southwest Pacific.
Julius married Mozell Jackson in 1967, she proceeded him in death in 2008.
He was a member of Masonic Wakarusa Lodge #402. He received his black belt in Taekwondo at age 65.
He worked for the city of Belleville and Southwestern Bell as a telephone lineman. After moving to Topeka he worked for Coker Engine Service, as a salesman for 30 years.
Survivors include son, Kenneth L. Schulz, Burlingame, KS; brother, Robert P. Schulz, Hill City, KS and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Monday, April 23 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel, 1321 SW 10th Ave. Topeka KS 66604. Funeral service will be Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at West Lawn Memorial Gardens.
