Julie Elaine Ketter, 43, of Topeka, passed away Saturday, October 1, 2011 peacefully at home.
She was born July 25, 1968 in Topeka. She was a graduate of Hayden High School and attended Washburn University.
She was employed by KPERS. She was baptized at Faith Temple Church.
Julie married Michael J. Ketter on July 25, 1998 in Topeka. He survives. Other survivors include her children, Morgan Stewart, Nicholas Ketter, Jordan Ketter; step-son, Matthew Ketter; grandson, Cale Ketter; her parents, Bob and Sherry Roudybush; adopted father, Darryl Dettmann; birth father, Henry Mosbrucker; half-brother and sister, Brad and Kristy Mosbrucker; and paternal grandma, Betty Roudybush.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Marvin and Geneva Burd.
Honoring her request, cremation is planned. A memorial ceremony will be 3 p.m., Thursday, October 6, 2011 at the Penwell-Gabel Mausoleum Chapel, 3616 SW 6th St., Topeka, KS, Bishop Ronald Lassiter officiating. Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel is assisting the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Sherry Roudybush for Julie's children's education.
