Judith Ann Heithaus, 72, of Topeka, passed away Sunday, June 17, 2012.
She was born January 21, 1940 in Topeka, the daughter of Martin Jack and Geraldine Alice "Jerry" (Blankenship) Heithaus. She was a 1958 graduate of Topeka High School with one year of nursing which served her all her life.
Mrs. Heithaus owned and operated the The Garage Sale, later named the Out To Judy's Antique Shop in Topeka. Her and her son, Bill were owners and operators of the Coral Reef in Topeka.
Judith married Franklin D. Heithaus June 19, 1959 in Topeka. He preceded her in death in 1986. Survivors include a her beloved son, Bill Joe Heithaus of Topeka; a grandson, Jamie Heithaus and a granddaughter, Jennifer Heithaus, both of Topeka. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and brothers and sisters.
She was a devoted wife, mother and friend with a special love for animals. She was a source of honesty, knowledge, fairness and love and will be missed.
Mrs. Heithaus was cremated. No services are planned. Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel, 1321 SW 10th Ave., Topeka is assisting the family.
