Judith Ann "Judy" Salsbury, 73, of Topeka, passed away Sunday, April 26, 2015 at Midland Hospice House.
She was born June 3, 1941 in Valley Falls, Kansas, the daughter of Paul and Ancle (Knouse) Sweet. She was a graduate of Topeka High School.
Judy was most recently employed by Wal-Mart.
Judy married Everett N. Salsbury on April 5, 1971 in Topeka. He preceded her in death on November 27, 2010. Survivors include her children, Ron and Jon both of Topeka; eight grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; a brother, Paul (Jody) Sweet, McClean, VA and two sisters, Merry Sweet, Topeka and Sally (Gene) Gibson, Lawrence.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Robert "Bobby" Schwartz, and a daughter, Susan "Susie" Schwartz.
A funeral ceremony will be 10 a.m., Saturday, May 2, 2015 at the Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel, 1321 SW 10th Ave., Topeka. Interment will follow at Penwell-Gabel Cemetery, Topeka. Judy will lie in state from 3-8 pm, Friday, at the funeral home.
