Josephine (Metzenthin) Baldwin

Josephine Ann (Metzenthin) Baldwin, passed away July 2, 2012. She was born in Joppa, Illinois on January 14, 1914, the daughter of Harvey Franklin and Leona (Burnett)Hollingsead. Her husbands, Paul E. H. Metzenthin and Orval Francis Baldwin, preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death were eight brothers and sisters and a grandson, Paul Christian Metzenthin. She is survived by her brother, Gene (Mary) Hollinsaid, Metropolis, IL; and her children: Paul (Lee Ann) Metzenthin, Topeka; George (Jean) Metzenthin, New Port Richey, FL; Betty Jo (Randy) Marling, Forest, VA; Bill (Maggie) Baldwin, Houston, TX; Orval (Mary) Baldwin, Broken Arrow, OK; Jo Ann (Keith) Siemsen, Gilbert, AZ; 13 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Josephine was a long time member of First Lutheran Church and Topeka Dental Assistants Association.

A memorial service will be held at First Lutheran Church on Friday, July 6, 2012 at 12:00 noon. Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel is assisting with arrangements.
