Graduated from Hoisington High School in 1941 and worked for the Seneca C C Camp. He served with the 317th field artillery, 81st division in 1943-1946 in the Pacific Islands and occupation of Japan. He earned a BS in Architectural Engineering at K-State University in 1951.
Relatives: Married to: Marion R. Gafford on April 21, 1943 in Great Bend, Kansas. She survives
