Jose "Joe" Antonio Veloz passed away Friday, April 1, 2016 in Topeka, Kansas at the age of 54. He was born on April 11, 1961 to Francisco and Antonia Veloz in Mesa, Arizona.
In his free time, Joe enjoyed fishing, watching the Green Bay Packers play football, taking his dog Jazmin on walks, spending time with his grandchildren, and watching his rosebushes grow every spring.
Joe is preceded into death by his father Francisco and his sister Catalina Kelso.
Joe is survived by his wife Maria "Rose" Veloz of Holton; son Angelo (Amber) Veloz of Holton; daughter Irene Veloz of Goff; his mother Antonia Veloz of Guadalupe, AZ; seven sisters Manuela (Carlos) Vasquez of Mesa, AZ; Margarita (Francisco) Estrada of Peoria, AZ; Dolores Veloz of Guadalupe, AZ; Linda (Juan) Jimenez, Carmen Veloz, Maria (Oscar) Veloz of Phoenix, AZ; Anita Horan of Queen Creek, AZ; and Rosie Veloz of Silver City, NM. He also leaves behind three grandchildren Andrez Veloz, Alexys and Adarius George, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
At this moment no services have been announced as plans of Joe's wishes of being laid to rest with his father are being arranged.
